Philosophy

アンカー 1

Sophia University Sophia Racing has participated in a variety of events including Formula-SAE events held in Japan and the US since 2000. We continue to thrive to use the knowledge and experience gained over time to prove ourselves in the automotive world as Japanese pioneers.

To continue to push ahead no matter what, and to create a racing vehicle worthy of international competition is our goal and design philosophy.

Engineering in the coming years have to focus on not only the ‘thing’ that we create, but also the ‘what’ and the reason behind the need in order to meet the actual needs of consumers. We want to achieve this in our vehicle and show the prowess of japanese manufacturing and development to the world while keeping the ideals of the competition of growing next generation engineers with new and wide perspective.
